Jurrien Timber’s agent ‘likes’ Fabrizio Romano ‘here we go’ Kai Havertz Arsenal transfer post

One of Jurrien Timber’s representatives has liked an Instagram post from Fabrizio Romano on the imminent signing of Kai Havertz.

Arsenal have reportedly agreed a £65m deal with Chelsea to sign the Germany international.

The BBC claim the two London clubs have reached an an agreement in principle that will allow the player to discuss personal terms and have a medical at the Emirates.

Arsenal are also in talks to sign Declan Rice from West Ham and Timber from Ajax.

The Gunners have had two bids, the latest worth £90m, rejected for Rice but are expected to return with an improved offer.

Timber, 22, still has two years left on his deal with Ajax, who are believed to want a fee in excess of the £30m offered by Arsenal.

He made 47 appearances in all competitions for Ajax last season but may seek to leave the club this summer, with Dutch side not competing in the Champions League next season.

Timber’s agent ‘likes’ Romano post

One of Timber’s representatives, Christopher Coffie, has fuelled speculation linking the defender with a move to the Emirates after liking an Instagram post from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The post from Romano included his ‘here we go’ catchphrase to confirm Havertz will move to Arsenal this summer.

“HERE WE GO: Kai Havertz joins Arsenal from Chelsea, agreement reached for £65m. Personal terms agreed, medical & statement soon,” posted Romano, alongside a picture of Havertz in an Arsenal shirt.

Eagle-eyed Gunners fans spotted Coffie, who works for Timber’s representatives Forza Sports Group, had liked the post.

Whether it means Timber himself is set to join Havertz at the Emirates remains to be seen.
